In addition to the aforementioned resolutions, I promise to attempt to learn, and use, some new words this year.  I feel like my vocabulary has become limited since I left college, and I plan to strive to reverse this trend.  My new coworkers are incredibly well-spoken and amazingly accurate with their words, while I often feel like I fumble around and let people see my train of thought until I arrive at exactly what I mean.

Well, fumble no more.

2011 is going to be Sally’s year of new words, many of which I hope will spill into my blog without making me sound stodgy.

And in case anyone else cares, “bromance,” “truthiness,” and “BFF” were added to the Oxford English Dictionary this year.  Need I say more about the need for good words?  I didn’t think so.
